Vickie–WordPress.com websites are all hosted by WordPress and have urls like abcd.wordpress.com. All self-hosted WordPress sites (like http://www.lifeonthebalcony.com) are WordPress.org sites. I used the official WordPress app, but quite frankly, it needs serious work to be usable on a long term basis. I downloaded the BlogPress app and am going to experiment with it.
The technology is awesome, but my husband, (the computer consultant), is not impressed by the current iPhone, so I have a different phone with different apps that can do similar things.
Still, I think it is very cool that we can take pics with phones, upload them, and share them from wherever we are!
Hey Jan, my husband is a Cisco VOIP tech for a large semiconductor company and we both have iPhones and love them. My iPhone will do battle your Android (I’m assuming that’s what you have?) spec by spec any day!

Is that Confederate Jasmine trying to take over the bench?
Gorgeous photos! I finally got an iPhone (though not a 4G) a few weeks ago and have fallen in love with taking photos using the Hipstamatic app- it’s not free but is totally worth the cost.

Oh, by the way, I love the metal bench picture.

Tom–Not sure what variety of Jasmine that is. The photo was taken at my aunt’s house.
I’ve been hooked on hipstamatic, but think I need to take a break and check out the photoshop app. Great pics!
Hey Fern! Did you see that Kimba gave you a little shout out on A Soft Place to Land today? Like her, you are my absolute favorite gardening site!
T–Thanks! I didn’t see it before you mentioned it, but I went and found the post. Glad you like LOTB!
