Have to laugh, at Easter time I was in our local WALLY MART, and the big wigs were all there looking at the half dead easter egg mums, and wilting spring flowers, that lined the walkways. Doing the “rah, rah, go team go” dance for each other.
One of them said “So, we are looking pretty good around here.” I just smirked and thought to myself, obviously you guys DON”T know what a good live plant looks like.
Honestly, you get what you deserve if you buy plants at Walmart that are more than 3 days old.

That is awful! Leave it to Wallyworld (what we call it around here)
I’d have to agree. I rather support my local nursery because they take good care of their plants and trees. Although I go to Walmart for gardening supplies.
Pathetic looking things! I can’t bring myself to but anything from wally world. I agree with Louise I’d rather support the local nursery with my hard earned money.
Jen–You mean, those pathetic looking tomatoes aren’t a result of neglect, the employees want them to look like that?!
Laurie–Funnily enough, if you google “wallyworld” Wal-Mart’s website is the first result.
Louise–I definitely agree! I much prefer to buy living plants from people who can actually tell me how to care for them.
Eric–I agree. Even when Wal-Mart has something I would like to buy, I shop elsewhere because I can’t stand how messy and disheveled the stores near me always look.
