I recently received a question via email about where to order seeds online. Here is my response:
My favorite seed company is called Botanical Interests. I like them because the seeds I’ve gotten are good quality, and they have an interesting selection of common and more unusual varieties. What I really like is their seed packets though. There is tons of growing information packed onto the back and in the inside of the packet, and sometimes there is a recipe. I also like supporting them because they’re a smaller, family business.
Another option for good quality seed is Territorial Seed Company. They have a larger selection that Botanical Interests. And I like that they show the actual plant, fruit or vegetable on their website, instead of the drawing on the seed packet.
