Love my bird feeders and I get lots of traffic as my town home backs onto a regional park. I solved a squirrel problem with a special feeder I found at WalMart, but now I have droves of rats! – Any ideas on how to keep the bird feeders and not attract rats?
Yikes. I’ve never had rats before. I would think they are attracted to the seed that falls on the ground? If that’s the case, it seems that you would either have to be very fastidious about cleaning up after the birds, or not have a bird feeder all together.
