Great Herb Window Box Advice

Check out this article about growing herbs in windowboxes from Herb Companion Magazine. While it is technically for outdoor windowboxes, I think you could easily adapt the advice in the article for an indoor windowbox for a sunny window sill. Lots of good stuf, definitely check it out!

I’d love to have a sunny windowsill upon which to grow some fresh herbs — love to use them when cooking.

You don’t have a single sunny window Nancy? Ah well, I can relate. My apartment is on the first floor, so this time of year I am shaded on one side by the next door building, on one side by the garage, and on the last by a large tree in the neighbor’s yard.
