		<description>You are so right, Fern! I have mentored a lot of people who want to be garden designers over the years and it seems like they immediately want to go from liking gardening to making a good living designing. 

But you can&#039;t rush the learning process, and so much of what makes an awesome gardener able to advise others is by firsthand experience of what doesn&#039;t work. Good post!</description>

Gardening has to be viewed as a rather fluid journey, with high and low spots in planting...it&#039;s probably the lack of rules and structure that attracted me to it!  Mathmatical formulas never made any sense to me, so I for one would much rather have my gardening time be experimental and enjoyable, with lots of do-overs and re-arranging.</description>
