Garden Blogger’s Bloom Day, With a Twist

in Inspiration

Normally, Garden Bloggers Bloom Day comes on the 15th of the month, and all the various garden bloggers post photos of what is blooming in their gardens. It is flower porn at its best. But I always forget about it until I check my feed reader and see that all my favorite garden blogs have dutifully posted photos of their beautiful gardens.

So I was thinking, instead of showing you belated photos of my garden, I’d invite you to share a link to photos of what is blooming in your container garden. You don’t need to have a blog, you just need to have photos stored online somewhere. I can’t wait to see what is going on in your container gardens! In the meantime, I’m off to check the Life on the Balcony Flickr group and see what you all have been posting there.

Things are going well at Plotz Towers! I managed to exert some damage control after we had three days of high velocity, freezing cold winds which attempted to destroy my potato plant… the windowsills in my flat are now covered in potted-on seedlings all eager to get out there and do their thing!
Like a complete lunatic, I’ve just applied to write a third blog… I must be mad. But it’s rather addictive talking about gardening ;)

Ach… just realised that I’ve been rather lax in posting photos to the Flickr group… I’m blaming the emergency hoo-hah with the freezing cold winds for that. Must get snapping…
