You guys know how much I love gardening at my office. For those of us with extremely limited space, a pot or 8 at the office can mean doubling our growing space. In this video, Adriana and I visit the offices of punk record label Epitaph to show them how to grow some veggies at work.

Where’d you guys pick up that sweet raised bed kit? My Google searches have yielded nothing and I figured I’d just go to the source!

Missy–It’s from Gardner & Bloome: http://kellogggarden.com/projects_garden_box

Mary–Epitaph had an AWESOME landscape, very CA-friendly, with lots of succulents.

Diane & Todd–Thanks! :-)

That is a really cool raised bed. I wish I had a big garden to put that on.

Crazy sweet video. Better production than a lot of TV. Great job! And yeah…everybody office needs a little patch…I know there’s a wall or window that we could bust out that would give us access to this back lot that nobody uses. Hum…. Matti

Thanks Matti! We worked with a professional producer, videographer, and sound guy who all work regularly in TV, especially in the docudrama/reality TV genre. They were very talented, and made the process a lot of fun.

I was wondering where I can find the raised bed kit. I have been to Kellogg’s website but it doesn’t say where they are sold. I have tried many google searches but can’t find any stores or websites that sell them. I live in the San Fernando Valley. I’d really appreciate a heads up, thank you:)

Debbie–Let me see if I can find out directly from the folks at Kellogg.

Hi Fern, I assuming you havn’t been able to find out where to buy them. Are they too new to be in the stores yet? I have driven around to some hardware stores but no luck. I still need to try Lowes and Home Depot. Please do let me know if you find anything out. Thank you.

No, I haven’t. I sent an email but I haven’t gotten a response. They are not new, they have been out for over a year, maybe even several years. I’m sorry!

Thank you so much for checking. I will keep up the search and let you know if I find them. And I will also check back here periodically.

Great job Fern!
I think gardening at work/corporate community gardens are the ‘next frontier’ for gardening.

So many companies are looking to do right by their employees and the environment. This fits those needs to a tee :)
