Digital Gardening

One of the best parts about gardening in the 21st century is the multitude of websites we can use to chat with other gardeners, research plant information, or look at photos of others’ gardens to find inspiration.

I hang out on My Folia, Blotanical, Flickr, the You Grow Girl Forums and Stumble Upon. If you’ve never heard of those websites, I’d be happy to share what I love about each of them. Are you on any of these sites? Let me know so I can add you to my friends/favs list and check out what you’re up to over there.

What other social media sites do you like? I am thinking of joining Facebook, and I heard there was this big garden blogger meetup on Plurk. Although I have to admit I am kind of averse to sites like Plurk and Twitter. Most of the content I have seen on micro blogging platforms isn’t that great. Same thing with MySpace.

Psst…Don’t forget about the contest! Monday morning is your last chance to enter to win a copy of Big Ideas for Small Gardens by Dave Egbert and a $10 gift certificate for Renee’s Garden Seeds.
