I’ve tried out several names for this series of posts and none of them really do it for me. I’m going to try calling the links and little tid-bits of info I like sharing with you all my “journal.” We’ll see if that sticks.

Wow, designing a garden for color-blind people. Never thought of that before. Brilliant! It got me thinking about what a garden for blind people would be like. I suppose I would try to attract birds with nice songs, and have some running water, and of course wonderful smells.

Phil–And maybe also touch…I would imagine that it would be a bad idea to include spiny cacti in a garden for a blind person, but there are also plants that feel nice when you touch them, like Lamb’s Ears.

Wonderful idea for garden concepts for color blind and the blind so often we over look this (truly no pun intended here).

Fragrant gardens of herbs, touchable plants and water to attract birds, the buzz of humming birds and the flutter of butterflies : ) seen by us heard by them it Beautiful to think what it could be !

Fern, thanks for the mention! I have opened up your other posts and am giving a read as we speak… Loved the worm bin, too.

I too have had trouble with what to call my “assorted links and such” posts. I have been doing a Monday Miscellany, but what happens when I want to post a round up of things on Wednesday? Or if I miss a Monday? It is rather vexing.
